HEAR the Word Wednesday-12.12.07

Today, like most other days, I had a song stuck in my head. I kept hearing the chorus over and over and perhaps this was God’s way of reminding me of some things I often forget.
All of You, is more than enough for, all of me,
For every thirst and every need,
You satisfy me, with Your love,
And all I have in You is more than enough.
There are those days when the only thing we are reminded of is our insufficiencies; when we try and try and continually it isn’t enough-but here in lies our downfall-we are trying too hard. Now don’t get me wrong, of course Christ wants us to give Him our all, and that does require us trying. However, on those days when it seems as though nothing we ever do is good enough, we have to remember that nothing WE ever do is good enough, it has to be God in us that gives value to our work. When we get so overwhelmed with our own lives and forget that they belong to God, each action we attempt to complete on our own is devoid of His Spirit. But when we stop, take a step outside of ourselves and remember that He has provided exactly what we need we can breathe in the truth of the statement that, “all I have in You is more than enough”
Breathe Him in today.
Blessings,
Dirt
