Rainier Kids Day Camp:
What could be a better environment than an outdoor wonderland that’s safe and close to home, for having fun, making new friends, and cultivating new interests? Under the supervision of trained and caring college-aged counselors, our program provides days full of fun, and confidence building activities including: archery, waterfront time, arts and crafts, nature walks, ballfield games, and more. All that plus a daily snack and a nutritious lunch kids love!
Since 1989, each summer thousands of families from all over Washington and Oregon send their kids to Cascades’ week-long Youth & Equestrian camps. “Rainier Kids Day Camp” is created especially for our neighbors living in, and around Yelm. We’re located just 15 minutes from Yelm and just around the corner from both Lackamas Elementary and Clearwood.
What You'll Experience:
Summertime is all about enjoying your day, playing outside, and being creative; that’s exactly what you can expect at Rainier Kids Day Camp. Camps run each week in July, Monday through Friday. There is a registration & introduction time each Sunday afternoon (4pm-5pm) before the camp week starts for parents and campers to come and meet their counselors, ask questions, finalize registration, deposit money in the canteen, and drop off any medication. Families who cannot make it on Sunday afternoon should plan on allotting extra time for logistics on Monday morning.
At the end of the week on Friday afternoon families are invited to participate in “Closing Ceremonies” from 4:15-4:30pm as campers recap their week and say goodbye to counselors. Register ahead of time and the whole family can stay for the optional evening BBQ at 5:00pm.
