 Your time here at one of our week-long resident youth camps (Camp Timber Rock, Sunrise Ranch, Brightwood Station) might not be very far away… its time to start getting ready! Included on this page is very important information for parents on every aspect of camp that you’ll need to prepare for. We encourage you to thoroughly read through this information!

As You Prepare:
 Canteen, Espresso & Gift Store
To keep funds safe and conveniently accessible during free time, Cascades Campers deposit their funds in a Canteen spending account, with a maximum of $50. Spending money may be sent in ahead of arrival, or deposited when the camp begins. On the last day of camp, any remaining funds are returned to the camper or can be donated to our Columbia Camp mission project.
Each Day, at the Canteen outside Nisqually Center campers may have up to 2 visits per day to purchase snacks and cold drinks. The Gift Store offers gift items, books, shirts, and even toothbrushes for those who forgot them! Shop for a shirt with your camper at the beginning or end of camp. They may shop during the week for smaller items, with funds debited from their Canteen account.

Snail Mail Direct
Save big postage $$$! Instead of mailing letters or packages to campers, Cascades offers a free service in which you can bring them when you bring your child, and we’ll deliver! On the envelope, print your child’s name, camp location, Counselor, and what day you’d like them to receive it.
Please keep packages small (shoe box size or smaller) as the volume of mail is huge on busy camp weeks. Thanks! Mail from home can be addressed to:

E-Mail Your Camper
If you go to www.cascadescamp.org, we have launched a page which allows parents and siblings to send an email to be printed out and delivered during the week. The fee for the cost of printing and delivery of the message:1 for $1.25, 2 for $2.25, 3 for $3.00 (must be to a single camper, not multiple campers). Please don’t expect a reply –we’ll all be busy having fun outdoors!
Still Have a Camp Fee Balance?
All camp fees should be paid 2 weeks before camp. If you pre-authorized automatic balance payment, the top of your letter will say “Yes” and give the date the transaction will occur. If not, please mail a check/credit card info with the lower section of your confirmation letter. You may add money for Canteen, or bring it.
