New this year at Camp Timber Rock, Brightwood Station, & Sunrise Ranch:
Campers and their parents have the opportunity to choose how their time is spent while at camp, its totally up to you! Each camper chooses one AM week-long activity and one PM week-long activity. Activity choices are picked during online registration and you will be enrolled within two weeks, based on availability.
You can also choose to sign up for multiple one day options - Create the ULTIMATE SUMMER and enjoy what you love most about Cascades.
Note: Sunrise Ranch @ The Rock or Sunrise Ranch @ Brightwood includes one hour of horsemanship per day (outside of activty options), As you continue the registration process make sure you sign up for both "Hittin' The Trail" and "Arena Lessons" for MAXIUM riding time each day(3 Hours total) - Or sign up for one additional riding time and choose to spend the other hour however you'd like!
Morning Choices (Choose one morning option, and one afternoon option)
Sunrise Ranch: Hittin’ the Trail - $55
Cowboys and Cowgirls head out to Sunrise Ranch each day to explore the back-woods of Cascades on horseback and learn basic horse information. Includes three days of trailrides and 2 days of cowboy 101.
Outdoor Survival - $35
Spend an entire week learning everything from reading a map and compass to starting a fire, simulate a high mountain excursion on the climbing tower. Campers will put their knowledge to the test when they build a shelter and sleep in it.
Paintball Extreme - $95
This is your chance to go big and play as much paintball as you want. Each day will hold new challenges as you rotate teams, types of games, and even courses. Players will be provided daily with daily use of; our Tippmann markers, a full tank of CO2 and a hopper full of paint.
Culinary Arts - $25
Get hands on in the kitchen learning the basics of cooking & baking. Tantalize your taste buds each day as you’ll have a delicious project to work that will showcase your culinary art skills.
Archery & Skilled Shooting - $30
Campers who can’t get enough archery practice in during a traditional week at Cascades won’t want to miss out on this activity. You’ll start with the basics and explore; proper form & posture, using a compound bow, shot execution, consistency, accuracy and more.
Sports & Games - $20
For those who like to get outside, run and try their hand at some fun sports, this activity is for you! Everything from 3-on-3 Basketball and Volleyball tournaments to field games like ultimate Frisbee. Each day is a new opportunity to enjoy sports of all kinds.
Camp Classics - $0
Putting the FUN in fundamentals this weeklong activity is more of everything you love about Cascades! Mafia on the lawn, kindness crafts, dodgeball, and nature hikes are just a few of the classics that you’ll be a part of.
Hands on Art 1 - $30
Focusing on 2D art techniques campers in “Hands on Art 1” will be instructed in skills that will last a lifetime. Each day begins with a brief Artist Profile as the day’s artform is introduced. Sketching, painting, oil pastels, contour drawings and other kinds of media are just the beginning for this fun activity.
Afternoon Choices (Choose one afternoon option, and one morning option)
Sunrise Ranch: Arena Lessons - $55
From trotting English to cantering western this activity is perfect for the horse enthusiast who wants develop or improve their equitation and form. With specialized instruction from carefully trained wranglers campers will leave a better rider than they came. You never know, you might even get to ride bareback!
Wilderness and Canoe - $30
Combining all aspects of Cascades’ unique setting “Wilderness and Canoe” promises to get you hands on with the great outdoors. Fly through the forrest on our brand new zipline, take a GPS and go on a geocaching scavenger-hunt in the back-country, and learn the fine points of canoeing by exploring the boundaries of Elbow Lake. After a week like this, you’ll be a wilderness guru.
Swimming Lessons - $95
For beginner and intermediate swimmers, spend additional time in Elbow Lake with Red Cross certified swim instructors as you develop swimming skills and work towards your swim level certification.
Shooting Sports - $20
Get on target with this ultimate combination of all of your favorite shooting sports. Rotate throughout the week between archery, Giant Killers (A Slingshot Adventure), B.B. Guns, and Tomahawks. Each day will bring a new sport and instruction for these fun activities.
Media Arts - $30
This weeklong activity includes digital photography and videography. Learn the finer points of photography including composition and other techniques to ensure you go home with great photos that capture your lifelong memories. Campers will also get the opportunity to learn the basics of videography as well as help collect footage that might even make it on the camp DVD! Don’t forget to bring your digital camera if you’ve got one.

Focusing on 3D art techniques “Hands on Art 2” will instruct campers in areas such as sculpting, mixed media, wearable art, mosaics, and other fun projects to take home with you. Participate in this activity either on it’s own or combine it with “Hands on Art 1” to complete your ultimate art experience.
TIMBER ROCK CAMPERS ONLY - Adventure MAX - $40
Offered only for Middle School campers, this is an activity for the true adrenaline junkie. Everyday adventure will be taken to the max as you put your driving skills to the test at the Rubicon Offroad Challenge, enjoy a game of paintball as your play capture the flag in our wooded course, fly through the forest on our brand-new zipline, reaching new heights as your scale the 50ft climbing tower, and cruise down the trail on Cascades’ famous mountain boards.
Music - $25
For campers of all experience levels, this activity will help develop your musical skills as you explore guitar, vocals, and various forms of percussion. Collaborate with the Cascades’ Worship leader and others as you work together to record a camp song that you’ll get to take home at the end of the week.
BW, TR, & Ranch Extended Stay Options
Optional Extended Stay - Early Arrival Saturday Morning – Beginning at 11am – $59
Regular arrival time for campers is Sunday @ 4pm.
Optional Extended Stay – Late Pickup Sunday Afternoon – As late as 3pm – $59
Regular Pickup time for campers is Saturday morning @ 9:30am
Cascades’ new “Extended Stay Option” Gives families the ability to “reset” pickup and drop off times according to their own schedule or “bridge weeks” for campers attending multiple sessions.
Parents choose this option during the registration process.
