Cascades will hire approx. 70 Summer Staff selected from many qualified applicants from across the country. The entire staff works together ministering to campers and guests. Within the four departments, staff work very closely as a team which is why job descriptions don't list individual positions.
Food Service, 14 positions. Campers and guests love our homemade bread, spring water, fresh cookies and eating around tables, family style. Cooks and dishwashers work together to prepare, transport and serve food at satellite locations. And there's lots of cleaning for everyone ;)! With your time off in the afternoons and evenings you have the opportunity to be a staff buddy to a cabin full of campers.
Operations Team, 16 positions. Cascades is known for the service this dynamic team provides, keeping the camp clean and running smoothly. Together they care for the beautiful facilities, indoors and out! In addition to custodial and maintenance duties, individuals take responsibility for hosting guests, manning the espresso stand, gift store, and canteen, lifeguarding, and operating the waterslide. When the work is done you have the option of being a staff buddy to a cabin of campers.
Sunrise Ranch, 9 positions. Each week horse-crazy campers come for horse camp and leave with Jesus! Ranch staff provide the safety, fun and teaching to 4th - 12th graders. Wranglers teach horsemanship, lead trailrides, care for horses and do barn chores. Counselors care for the eight campers in their cabin, lead Bible studies and activities, lead trail rides, assist with horsemanship classes, and help with ranch chores.
Camp Timber Rock, 20 positions. 96 Middle School and High School aged campers sleep in log cabins and choose activies such as waterfront, sports, music, nature exploration and target sports. The program is oriented around the counselors as they care for and supervise their eight campers. Counselors lead activities, Bible studies, and rotate to another department for one week. Counselors should have at least one summer of prior counseling experience. Leadership positions in program, recreation, worship and the SALT program are available to returning staff.
Brightwood Station, 20 positions. 100 junior-aged campers sleep in train car-like cabins and choose activities such as waterfront, sports, music, nature exploration and target sports. The program is oriented around the counselors as they care for and supervise their eight campers. Counselors lead activities, Bible studies, and rotate to another department for one week. Leadership positions in program, recreation, worship, and the SALT program are available to returning staff.

Health Assistant, 2 positions. Care for health needs of campers and help out in other areas according to your specific gifts.
