About Sunrise Ranch:

It’s time to hit the trails! Campers come to Sunrise Ranch throughout the year with a love for horses and leave with a new and deeper love for Christ.

What You’ll Experience:

9:00am Students help groom and saddle the horses and spend the rest of the morning on lessons in the arena and on a trail ride.

12:00pm Lunch break (bring sack lunch)

12:30pm Devotional time led by Cascades Camp staff.

1:00pm Afternoons include horse science class and another horseback activity such as vaulting or games.

3:30pm Lessons conclude. Students help unsaddle horses and “run the herd” back to the pasture.

All instructional classes will be followed by time to practice newly learned skills.
CHA Certification is available for all levels, for those who wish to participate.  In addition, students work with the wranglers as they care for the horses.
