How to Apply for Summer Staff

So, you’ve read all the information about Summer Staff and you’ve decided that working at Cascades is something you’d like to pursue, but you have NO idea on how to do that. Just follow this easy checklist to ensure that you’re on your way to an amazing summer!

1. Fill out our online application (you have to create a new account through our online registration, then begin the summer staff application).
2. Download our reference form and contact 3 references if you have not worked on summer staff at Cascades in the past two summers, or 1 reference if you worked at Cascades last summer or the summer before (Teacher, Employer and Pastor/Spiritual Leader – MUST HAVE ONE OF EACH FOR NEW STAFF – no substitutions without prior arrangement) and have them fill out the reference form and mail/fax it to us. Please no family member references, or references who currently work at Cascades.
3. Once your application is complete and all references have been received we will contact you for an in-person or skype interview.  Returning staff will also be interviewed briefly.
4. After your interview, we will contact you with a hiring decision at the end of the hiring period you completed your application within (see below).

If you are hired:

• You will receive a contract via email
• Look over your start date, end date, time-off requests and confirm that they are accurate.
• Fill out the hiring paperwork
• Sign it, and send it in ASAP!
