 Cascades’ S.A.L.T. Programs:
If you’ve loved Cascades as a camper and are looking to serve this summer, get a taste of life on the other side of camp by applying to be a S.A.L.T.! The Servant And Leadership Training program is 2 to 4 weeks of intense, hands-on discipleship modeled after Jesus’ servant-leader example. You’ll experience life behind-the-scenes at Cascades, growing through challenging and in-depth Bible Studies, learning skills geared towards how to serve in your focus area as well as all around camp, understanding how to mentor and interact with younger campers, and creating friendships with others your age that will last a lifetime!
*Please note: Electronic devices such as computers, mp3 players, ipods, cell phones, are not allowed for campers (including SALTs). Please leave these items at home. Thank you for your understanding.
Brightwood/Ranch S.A.L.T. Application Process:
1. Begin the online registration process (click here) and pay $50 deposit
2. Fill out and turn in application (download below)
3. Have your youth leader fill in the reference form included in the application.
4. Wait for confirmation from Cascades on your acceptance into the program (you should hear back from us within 1-2 weeks of receiving your complete application, including reference)
5. Finish registration process by paying the balance left on your registration
*Priority for Brightwood, Ranch and Seasoned SALTs programs is given to the most qualified applicants. The Seasoned SALT program specifically gives priority to those who have completed the Brightwood or Ranch SALT program in previous years. Cascades reserves the right to select applicants based on qualifications and not order applications were received.
